COLORED DRAWINGS

“The exhibition features 5 large and 7 small watercolours made in an author-technique that I invented a while ago. There is both painting and drawing. There are no sketches before. A hand pulls ink feather and the compositions forms itself. Afterwards I colour with coloured pencils – sitting at home at the table and thinking all sorts of thoughts. Enjoying the beautiful surroundings, because we live in a small satellite city of Los Angeles, Sherman Oaks,” says artist Terēze Gruntmane.
