The contemporary jewellery exhibition/competition “GIOIELLI IN FERMENTO” was hosted on May 13th, 2018 at Villa Braghieri Albesani, in Castel San Giovanni, Piacenza, Italy. Villa Braghieri-Albesani was begun during the late 17th century and construction continued till the end of the 18th century. In 1809, the villa became property of the president of the Criminal Court of Piacenza – Pietro Albesani. The villa was bought by the Braghieri family in year of 1905. Carlo Braghieri, a prominent lawyer, willed the property to the Ente Comunale di Assistenza of Castel San Giovanni in 1971. Since 1996 Villa Braghieri-Albesani is a property of the commune and right now it is a museum and library. The project has been running since 2011 and the participants are well-known and established artists from all over the world and growing artists – students. They represent the real “fermentation” in the world of art – turmoil, discussion, emotion. Inspiration for this project is the source of roots in making culture and its related to wine. This yeah from March 7 – 13 in Munich the annual Munich Jewelry week took place. It includes: – SCHMUCK 2018 – historical jewellery exhibition taking place since 1959 in Kunsthalle exhibition hall – TALANTE – international new talent competition in jewellery design and technologies – various events around the city In this week jewellers, collectors, students, gallery representatives, professors, and other jewellery enthusiasts met and got to know each other. Throughout the week in various locations all around Munich jewellery exhibitions, discussions, book presentations, performances and closing events took place; in total around 100 events. UNEXPECTED SOURCES is a series of stories about unexpected coincidences, about information that comes to us through simultaneous fixation of a number of things existing concurrently – sound, space, noise, anything that is around us.
The first story of UNEXPECTED SOURCES is based on a relationship between a poetic illustration of forest landscapes and a wall of the modern urban environment. The wall that divides society, social space, private property, religion, thoughts, beliefs, culture, and countries. The wall as a symbolic stamp of territory in the architectonic urban environment.

Art gallery Putti congratulates Latvian contemporary jewellery designer Valdis Broze with receiving the award Lielais Kristaps together with the Estonian artist Anu-Laura Tuttelberg in the nomination “Best animation film artist” for the work on the animation film “It`s time”, directed by Ivo Briedis.
On September 11th, 2015 at 18:00 Center of Performing Arts „Jūras Vārti” in Ventspils will host the opening of jewellery exhibition „Amber in contemporary jewellery” in collaboration with Art gallery Putti. Exhibition will be on display until October 5th, 2015.
Exhibition participants are Latvian contemporary jewellery artists Andris Lauders, Guntis Lauders, Māris Auniņš, Māris Šustiņš and Valdis Brože.

Fifth year in a row the winery Torre Fornello, located in the splendid hills of Val Tidone in Emilia Romagna, which lays in one of the four valleys near the wonderful city Piacenza, hosts an international contemporary jewellery competition – exhibition “JEWELS IN FERMENT”. The organizers of the event are the AGC Italian association of Contemporary Jewellery. The event theme for this year is “NOT JUST BREAD”. No matter in which time and age, a man has always needed something more than just bread.

On March 11, 2015 Art gallery Putti went to Munich to visit events in Munich Jewellery Week 2015. We were there for three days and visited many different events, galleries, exhibitions, as well as met with our friends from contemporary jewellery world.
